Our client is the scientific leader and most respected provider of risk modeling software and consulting services. They founded the catastrophe modeling industry in 1987 and today model the risk from natural catastrophes and terrorism in more than 50 countries. More than 400 insurance, reinsurance, financial, corporate and government clients rely on their software and services for catastrophe risk management, insurance-linked securities, site-specific wind and seismic engineering analyses, agricultural risk management, and property replacement cost valuation.

You will become a senior member of the clients growing Software Research and Development team. You will help to provide our clients with sophisticated modeling and analytical products that analyze the impact of catastrophe events, like hurricanes, earthquakes and terrorist attacks, and estimate the replacement value of residential and commercial properties. You will join the application team helping to create software that will serve as the services framework for running this clients business services and you will become the Team Lead for the application.

You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience leading a technical team creating a framework, application blocks, or API’s that will be used by application developers to create applications. Experience with Web Services and SOA. You will also have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on software development working in C++ on the Microsoft® Windows and 3 years of hands-on software development working in C#.
