Skills:

* Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) - this is a must have opposite the project work that we are doing now. The resource that we need should be familiar with Expression Blend as part of their WPF experience and needs to have Application Development experience; we are NOT looking for those with only Web Development experience.
* C#
* Previous experience developing for and with databases (SQL, for example) is a plus.
* Previous experience with Visual Studio 2k8 or Team Foundation Server is a plus.

Soft Skills:

* Self-starter - should be able to identify areas where assistance is needed (I.e., not afraid to ask questions) and must be well suited to working largely unsupervised during the actual development effort; as part of the above, the person should be able (and willing) to fill the gaps in their skills/knowledge with their own effort on acquiring the necessary skills/knowledge.

POSITION: Consultant/Senior Consultant - Financial Analytics
EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs experience

EDUCATION: CA/ ICWA/ MBA (Finance)

POSITION LOCATION: Bangalore

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the product roadmap & product lifecycle of Financial Analytics Software covering areas such as

General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, and Audit.

Continuously sense the international market for Financial Analytics applications in Retail industry,

inclusive of competitive landscape and industry benchmarking

Understand the functional requirement from stakeholders like customers, sales team, deployment

teams and convert into specifications for the engineering team.

Work closely with engineering team to deliver the specific vision of the product. Configure, maintain

& validate the Analytical reports / KPIs within Financial Analytics product and ensure the release as

per plan.

Participate in customer-facing events and user conferences as a product expert. Support Sales through

demo and solutioning of the Financial Analytics product.

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

CA/ ICWA/ MBA (Finance) from reputed institute

Should have done atleast one implementation of financial modules of known ERPs like SAP FICO,

Oracle Financials OR Financial BI applications like SAP BI, Oracle Financial Analyzer, Hyperion,

Cognos, etc.

Should have functional experience of atleast 3 years viz should have been in operational role in

Accounts department of a reputed organization. Exposure to Financial Analysis.

Excellent written, oral, demo & presentation skills.

Ability to face customer independently, make quick decisions & work in tight timelines in a fast paced

environment.

DESIRABLE:

Ability to document Software Use Cases/ Requirement Specifications in clear and understandable

manner.

Preference would be given to individual with retail industry experience or having good knowledge of

retail industry specific accounting & financial analysis.

Preference would be given to individual currently working with ERP/ BI Practice of an IT

organization.
